Ghost Towns of West Virginia

I love my state, and this is a loose list of some of the towns that are now just barely there, or even just barely visible as a place where people once thrived.  As late as the 1960's, many of these towns are still booming, and places where people wanted to say with pride was home.  This is a photo of Thurmond, a rail town from days gone by, but such rich history, and I have felt spirit vibrations near the tracks here many times.  This is a terrific article and listing of some of our state's best locations to seek out the past, and its still roaming inhabitants.
